Designed for dedicated students giving them the chance to become mentors and leaders within GDC!
At Gotta Dance Company, our Dance Teacher Assistant Program offers passionate and dedicated students the chance to become mentors and leaders within our dance community. Open to those with a strong commitment to dance and excellent communication skills, the program equips assistants with teaching techniques, classroom management, and child development principles. Acting as role models, they mentor younger dancers, instilling confidence and discipline.
Through this program, students deepen their dance understanding, make a meaningful impact, and grow as artists and leaders within our vibrant studio community.
- Demonstrated passion for dance: Applicants should exhibit a genuine love for dance and a strong desire to share their enthusiasm with others.
- Strong dance skills: Applicants should possess a solid foundation in dance technique and performance.
- Excellent communication skills: Assistant teachers must be able to effectively communicate with instructors, students, and parents in a positive and respectful manner.
- Reliability and commitment: Assistant teachers should be dependable and punctual, committed to attending training sessions, classes, and events as required.
- Positive attitude: Applicants should demonstrate a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to learn and grow as both dancers and teachers.
- Application and interview: Interested students must complete an application process, which includes completing an interest form, submitting a resume, and participating in an interview.
